[Imageworld] PostDoc Position in Image Search at TELECOM Paris-Tech

Location: LTCI-CNRS, TELECOM ParisTech (ENST), Paris, France.

A postdoctoral position, in image annotation/retrieval and scene
understanding, is available at LTCI/TSI lab (Image, Speech and Learning
group) in TELECOM ParisTech (http://www.tsi.enst.fr/). The research
position is a part of a French national project and its goal is to
design algorithms for real world image annotation and retrieval in still
images. This topic tackles different aspects including (i)
low level feature extraction (ii) statistical machine learning and (iii)
image database navigation and retrieval.

A candidate should have a PhD degree in either applied mathematics or
computer science with an experience in image processing, computer vision,
machine learning and programming. The appointment will be for 12 months
and may start in the last quarter of 2011.
