Postdoctoral research position (fixed-term, up to 15 months)
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious researcher to join an interdisciplinary research project involving several European partners. The project is to develop novel methods for learning patterns of human sensory-motor activity within tasks involving hand manipulation of objects and tools. It is expected these methods will involve the integration of qualitative reasoning and stochastic process models.
You will have a PhD (or to obtain soon) in computer science, artificial intelligence or a related discipline and research experience in machine learning, or knowledge representation and reasoning, obtained during PhD study, postdoctoral research or from working in industry.
Informal enquires to David Hogg (d.c.hogg@leeds.ac.uk) or Tony Cohn (a.g.cohn@leeds.ac.uk).
